General information about the Jungfraujoch:
The Jungfraujoch, also known as the “Top of Europe”, is a high alpine attraction in Switzerland at an altitude of 3,454 meters. It offers spectacular views of the Aletsch Glacier and the surrounding peaks of the Bernese Alps and is one of our guests’ favorite destinations. The breathtaking scenery and impressive ice and snow fields make the Jungfraujoch an unforgettable experience.

The weather on the Jungfraujoch can vary greatly and often changes quickly. It is advisable to find out about the current weather conditions in advance and to dress accordingly. Recommended route:
The Jungfraujoch can be reached via various routes and railroads. The fastest route takes you from Grindelwald to the Jungfraujoch in about an hour:
- Take the train or car to Grindelwald Terminal.
- At Grindelwald Terminal, get on the Eiger Express and travel to the Eigergletscher station.
- At the Eigergletscher station, change to the cogwheel railroad, which will take you to the Jungfraujoch.
Note on various options: You can, for example, take different routes for the outward and return journey. If you don’t feel comfortable on the cable car, you can also take the train to the Eiger Glacier station. I will be happy to help you if you have any questions about the various routes.
Arrival by car:
From Adlerhorst, drive towards Interlaken and follow the signs to Grindelwald. In Grindelwald, park in the Terminal parking garage right next to the Eiger Express valley station. The journey time by car from Latterbach to Grindelwald is approx. 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic.
Arrival by public transportation:
From Oey-Diemtigen, travel via Spiez and Interlaken Ost to Grindelwald Terminal. Grindelwald Terminal station is located directly at the valley station of the Eiger Express. The train journey from Oey-Diemtigen to Grindelwald Terminal takes approx. 1.5 hours. You can find detailed timetables and tickets at www.sbb.ch.
Tickets:
Tickets can be purchased online at jungfrau.ch or directly at the train station in Grindelwald. There are various ticket options, including combined tickets for access to other attractions. It is advisable to book tickets in advance, especially in high season, to avoid waiting times and ensure you get the departure time you want.
